Bhakti — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Bhakti (“App” or “Service”), operated by Shloka Dot Life Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using Bhakti, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

1. About Bhakti

Bhakti is a devotional digital-content application providing wallpapers, ringtones, alarm sounds, audio content, and other related digital content and features. We may add, modify, update, or remove content and features from time to time.

2. Eligibility

• Bhakti is intended for users aged 13 years and older.
• If you are under the age of majority in your country, you should use Bhakti with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

3. Your Account

Certain features of Bhakti require an account. You may create an account using authentication methods made available through the App, including:

• Mobile phone number and OTP
• Google Sign-In

• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information reasonably up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity occurring through your account.
• You must not impersonate another person or use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

4. Use of the Service

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Bhakti for your personal, non-commercial use.

You must not:

• Copy, reproduce, sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content;
• Modify or create derivative works from the Service or its content except where expressly permitted;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain the source code of the App except where permitted by law;
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service;
• Circumvent subscription, security, or access controls;
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service; or
• Use Bhakti for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

5. Digital Content

Bhakti may provide digital content including:

• Wallpapers
• Ringtones
• Alarm sounds
• Devotional audio
• Other devotional and spiritual content

• Some content may be available for free, while other content may require a paid subscription.
• Content availability may change over time. We may add, remove, replace, or update content as part of operating and improving Bhakti.
• Access to digital content does not transfer ownership of that content to you.
• You may not redistribute, resell, publicly distribute, or commercially exploit Bhakti content unless expressly authorized by us or the applicable rights holder.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

• Certain content and features may require a paid subscription.
• Subscription prices, billing periods, applicable taxes, and included features will be displayed before you complete a purchase.
• Payments may be processed through payment methods made available by Bhakti and applicable payment providers.
• By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction.
• Subscription access is subject to successful payment and compliance with these Terms.
• We may offer different subscription plans, promotional pricing, discounts, or introductory offers from time to time. Additional terms may apply to such offers.

7. Subscription Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation process provided by the payment method used to purchase the subscription.
• Cancellation generally prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund amounts already paid for the current subscription period.
• Refunds are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy, applicable payment-provider policies, and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Wallpapers, Ringtones and Alarm Content

• Bhakti may allow you to download or save certain content to your device.
• Downloaded content may be subject to technical limitations imposed by your device, operating system, or applicable licensing restrictions.
• You may use downloaded content for your personal use through the functionality provided by Bhakti.
• You may not redistribute, resell, publicly distribute, or commercially exploit such content unless expressly authorized by us or the applicable rights holder.

9. Intellectual Property

• The Bhakti application, including its software, branding, logos, interface design, trademarks, and original materials, is owned by or licensed to Shloka Dot Life Pvt. Ltd.
• Certain content available through Bhakti may be owned by or licensed from third-party rights holders. Such content remains subject to the rights of its respective owners.
• Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

10. Copyright and Content Removal Requests

Bhakti respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and rights holders. If you believe that any wallpaper, image, ringtone, audio, alarm sound, text, or other content available through Bhakti infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at: hi@gurucool.life

Please provide:

• A description of the content you believe infringes your rights;
• Sufficient information to help us locate the content;
• Your name and contact information;
• Confirmation that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder; and
• Any other information reasonably necessary for us to evaluate the request.

We may investigate reported content and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to the content.

11. Third-Party Services

• Bhakti may use third-party services for authentication, payments, analytics, customer support, notifications, hosting, and other technical functions.
• Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.
• We are not responsible for services independently operated by third parties, except where required by applicable law.

12. Notifications and Communications

• Bhakti may send service-related notifications, including account notifications, new content, reminders, subscription information, and important service updates.
• Where permitted by applicable law, we may also send promotional communications.

Service-related communications necessary to provide or secure the Service may still be sent.

13. Privacy

By using Bhakti, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Account Deletion

• You may request deletion of your Bhakti account through the account deletion functionality available within the App.
• When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, except information we are required or permitted to retain under applicable law.
• Account deletion may permanently remove access to your account, preferences, and account-associated information.

15. Service Availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep Bhakti available and functioning, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be:

• Available;
• Uninterrupted;
• Error-free;
• Secure; or
• Compatible with every device or operating-system version.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

16. Changes to the Service

• We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of Bhakti from time to time.
• This may include changes to content, features, supported devices, subscription plans, pricing, technical requirements, or availability of particular content.
• Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Bhakti if you:

• Materially violate these Terms;
• Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity;
• Attempt to circumvent security or subscription controls;
• Interfere with the Service or its infrastructure; or
• Create a security, legal, or operational risk.

Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice before termination. However, immediate suspension or termination may be necessary in cases involving fraud, security, unlawful activity, or serious violations.

18. Disclaimers

• Bhakti and its content are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
• We do not guarantee that the content or Service will always be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
• Devotional, spiritual, cultural, or religious content provided through Bhakti is intended for general informational, entertainment, and personal-use purposes.
• Bhakti does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.

19. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shloka Dot Life Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Bhakti.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

20. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shloka Dot Life Pvt. Ltd., its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your unlawful use of the Service; or
• Your infringement of another person's rights.

21. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, technology, legal requirements, or business practices.
• When we make material changes, we may provide appropriate notice through the App, website, or other reasonable means.
• The updated Terms will become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

22. Governing Law

• These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
• Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Bhakti shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having appropriate jurisdiction in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
